The Renault Oxygen truck, an electric truck specially designed for urban logistics, has been driving the streets of Amsterdam since the end of this year. The zero-emission vehicle was developed by Renault Trucks in collaboration with Jumbo Supermarkets and SVZ. The best part of this electric truck is, of course, our Rapid Sliding door system<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ventura Systems, in collaboration with Renault Trucks, developed an innovative solution to approach the use of a door in a truck from a new perspective. The aim was to increase safety, improve driver visibility and optimise the entry and exit process. This resulted in an electric truck fully adapted to urban transport and distribution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • For improved visibility and safety, Oxygen features a low step-in cab and a large windscreen that provide the driver with excellent direct visibility to the height of road users. Multiple cameras replace the mirrors for 360\u00b0 visibility.<\/li>
  • To improve driver comfort and safety, there is a sliding door<\/strong> installed on the passenger side, avoiding the risks associated with opening a traditional door.<\/li>
  • The driver can enter and exit the vehicle on both the right and left side. Moreover, entering and exiting the cabin is facilitated by the low step height.<\/li>
  • For perfect preservation of the goods transported, the vehicle is equipped with a targeted-temperature isothermal body, suitable for transporting 25 supermarket trolleys.<\/li>
  • Finally, for perfect integration into the urban landscape and with a focus on driver comfort and improvement, the truck's exterior lines and cab interior have been completely redesigned.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
