Enthusiastic, sociable and sporty. That's how we know the toppers of S.C. Bolsward's G-team. A while ago, when a number of colleagues visited the G-team training, a question came from the team: can we come along for a tour again? Well, of course we couldn't say no to that.

Ventura Systems, through Ventura Aid, has been the main sponsor of S.C. Bolsward's G-team for five years now. G-football is played by footballers who are limited in their movement due to their mental and/or physical handicap and therefore cannot fit into a regular football team. Our sponsorship ensures that these men and women can (continue to) play their favourite sport.
Visit Ventura Systems
The visit started in the afternoon with a real Ventura quiz that secretly included some questions about football. For instance, one of the questions was how many goals the G-team has scored this year... After handing out the grand prize to the winner, the team went along for the tour.
The tour was given by one of the owners, namely Jan Lont. The tour was followed with great enthusiasm and interest. The team was very sharp and asked good questions, such as: 'don't you want to do something other than make bus doors'. Good question of course!

The visit ended according to old customs in football with a fries and a snack.

It is fantastic to see how much fun the team has with each other and in the sport. Partly thanks to support from Ventura Systems, partly thanks to the efforts of many volunteers and coaches of S.C. Bolsward. Our compliments to everyone who is visibly and invisibly committed to this team!
