On Wednesday 12 March, the ICD was again prominent at the Beta Business Days (BBD) in Groningen. With a well-attended stand, manned by representatives of Ventura Systems, Quant Controls, Philips and ASTRON, the interest of many students was piqued.
The Beta Business Days is the biggest career event for STEM students in Groningen. It consists of two days full of activities all aimed at connecting students with companies through networking and recruitment. The event gives people in their undergraduate, masters and PhD the chance to find out about their career options and make contacts that could lead to an internship, graduation project or a job.
There was a lot of interest in the various ICD companies - and certainly in Ventura Systems. Our colleagues on site talked to many students about our specialisms, areas of expertise and the future of our innovative door systems. It was an excellent opportunity to introduce young talent to Ventura. We hope to welcome some of them within our team in the future!
