Are you stepping in for the vacancy Coordinator Logistics?

As Coordinator Logistics, you will be the right hand of the Team Leader Logistics on the shop floor. You ensure that the logistic processes run smoothly and are continuously working on optimising them. You identify bottlenecks, make adjustments where necessary and keep an overview of the entire department.

For our location at De Marne 23, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who keeps an overview and knows how to set priorities.

Coordinator Logistics

What will you do?

In this role, you will ensure optimal staffing within the logistics department on a daily basis. You play a crucial role in keeping the daily operation running smoothly and you supervise the correct implementation of the applicable procedures and the daily 5S routine. You will manage daily output and targets and be the first point of contact for your logistics colleagues at our De Marne 23 location.

You will also get to work on various tasks, such as:

  • Training, evaluating and supervising staff
  • Chairing the daily start of the day
  • Signalling and communicating shortages and defects with Operational Purchasing
  • Participating in job interviews for new logistics employees
  • Occasional fill-in for breakdowns within the logistics department

 

In short, you are the link that ensures logistics processes are carried out efficiently and according to the right procedures.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who is accurate, has a large dose of perseverance and a hands-on mentality. You are able to switch quickly, you dare to make decisions and you know how to optimise processes. Finally, you have an eye for quality and organisational insight.

In addition, we like to see your CV:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a coordinating role within a technical environment
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written
  • Strong communication skills and a motivational attitude
