For Ventura Systems, the work doesn’t stop at national borders. We operate globally and attend various trade fairs to showcase our door systems, maintain contacts and meet new people from the public transport sector. In early October, it was Chicago’s turn, where we attended APTA TRANSform & EXPO 2026.
Colleagues from the Netherlands, Germany and the United States gathered at the stand. Together, they represented Ventura Systems and Ventura Systems Inc. and spoke with visitors from the North American market. This led to many interesting conversations and valuable contacts.
Our door systems in practice
A real highlight at our stand was a 12-metre Ebusco 3.0 electric bus, fitted with both our Rapid Sliding Door and our Plug Sliding Door. Visitors were also able to take a close look at our 5th-generation Inward Gliding Door and 3rd-generation Plug Sliding Door.
We also came across Ventura door systems scattered throughout the exhibition hall, fitted to buses from various manufacturers, including BYD, Karsan, Damera, BraunAbility and FrontRunner. It’s certainly great to see how our systems form part of vehicles from different brands.
Another highlight was the US launch of the Solaris Urbino 40 Electric. This bus was also on display at the exhibition and was fitted with a Ventura Inward Gliding door at the front and a Plug Sliding door at the rear.
Representing Ventura together
At international trade fairs, colleagues from different countries work together to represent Ventura Systems. In Chicago, we met many people from the North American public transport sector and gained valuable insights. It was also great to see our door systems fitted in buses from various manufacturers. This gives us a good idea, right on the exhibition floor, of how our products are used in practice.
On to the next trade fairs
Following Chicago, we already have new trade fairs lined up. From 20–22 October, you’ll find us at our service partner Busland’s stand at Persontrafik in Stockholm. This will be followed by Euro Bus Expo in Birmingham from 3–5 November and Singapore Urban Mobility Week from 4–6 November.
There, too, colleagues will be coming together to represent Ventura Systems, meet visitors and showcase our door systems.
