Assistant Controller

What will you do?

We are currently busy implementing new ERP and Exact software to make Ventura future-proof. As Assistant Controller, you can contribute to this professionalisation and play an important role. The work is not limited to our office in Bolsward, because as a department we work a lot with our branches in America, Germany, Hong Kong and Australia. This makes for an enormous amount of variety. Some of the tasks and responsibilities involved are:

Ensuring reliable administration and budgeting
Perform audits and provide correct, reliable information taking into account (tax) laws and regulations
Preparing reports on financial data

Who are you?

You are critical when necessary and possess a healthy dose of perseverance. You are a reliable link with an analytical attitude and have a keen eye for financial costs and see opportunities. As a real self-starter, you like to take the initiative and stand firm in your shoes.

We would also like to see the following on your CV:

HBO Business Administration, Business Administration or Accountancy
Working experience from a similar position within an SME or just an accountancy firm. You are ready for more challenge and responsibility within your area of expertise
Experience in an international environment is nice but not a requirement
