During this internship, you will have the opportunity to analyse processes, implement improvements and develop
a practical system that really makes a difference in our daily management and maintenance.

During your internship, you will work on a challenging and multifaceted assignment: developing and
implementing a long-term maintenance and facility management system for Ventura
Systems.

Maintenance & Facility Management intern

What will you do?

During your internship, you will investigate how we can make our buildings, installations and facilities smarter
manage and plan maintenance more effectively. You will identify what is needed to develop a
comprehensive long-term maintenance plan (LTM plan) for our various locations.

In addition, you will develop an appropriate facility management structure and system, including a
management and monitoring system via the existing software. In this system, you can, among other things
track maintenance statuses, inspections, reports and dashboards.

The aim of the assignment is to ensure that we understand at both operational and strategic levels
Get in:

  • The state of maintenance and inspections;
  • Planned and future maintenance activities;
  • Cost and performance;
  • And opportunities for improvement.

You will deliver a working system or proof of concept that we use to support our maintenance and
can improve facility processes sustainably.

Who are you?

You are curious, eager to learn and see your internship as an opportunity to develop yourself in a
professional but accessible environment.

What we care about:

  • You are following an HBO (Technical) Business Administration, Facilities Management, Integral
    Safety Science (or similar) and are looking for an internship for five
    months;
  • You are comfortable with Excel and Power BI, and have an affinity for digital management systems;
  • Interest in standards and regulations such as NEN 2767, occupational health and safety and fire safety requirements;
  • You have good communication skills and work accurately;
  • You are analytically strong and can handle confidential information with discretion

Employment conditions

Internship fee

You will receive an internship allowance of €30 gross per day as compensation for your time and effort.

Flexible working hours

In the office, you start and leave between 7:30 - 9:00 and 16:30 - 18:00. Start earlier or later? No problem.

ADV days

Around the holidays, we often have compulsory ADV days, a day when the entire staff is off. So that includes you.

Focus on development

We focus on your development and offer support or courses where necessary.

Sociability

With the company or within your team, we organise various outings; fairs, BBQs, get-togethers, you name it!
