Als Embedded Software Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en de ontwikkeling van de ondersteunende software van onze producten. Je gaat onder andere werken aan de besturing en ondersteunende software van de deursystemen die door Ventura zijn ontwikkeld. What will you do?

Onze technologie vind je wereldwijd terug in bussen, en net als onze producten zijn ook onze collega’s, klanten en leveranciers internationaal actief. Als Embedded Software Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, onderhouden en verbeteren van embedded software voor veiligheidstoepassingen binnen de automotive industrie. Gezien het kritieke karakter van onze systemen, werk je onder strikte kwaliteits- en veiligheidseisen (bijv. ISO 26262).

Je werkt nauw samen met multidisciplinaire teams aan het specificeren van wensen, het implementeren van nieuwe functionaliteiten en het oplossen van complexe technische vraagstukken.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Vertalen van systeemvereisten naar heldere software requirements
  • Ontwerpen, documenteren en implementeren van embedded softwarefunctionaliteiten in C/C++
  • Analyseren en oplossen van softwareproblemen
  • Ondersteunen van klanten en interne teams bij technische vragen
  • Bijdragen aan continue verbetering van ontwikkelprocessen, softwarearchitectuur en documentatie

Who are you?

Je bent in staat om complexe problemen te doorgronden en logische analyses te maken. Je weet prioriteiten te stellen en je taken efficiënt te plannen. Je bent gedreven om je doelstellingen te behalen, neemt initiatief en streeft continu naar verbetering.

In addition, we would like to see your CV:

  • HBO of WO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in Elektrotechniek, Informatica of Embedded Systems
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met embedded softwareontwikkeling in C/C++
  • Ervaring in de automotive sector en/of met safety-critical systemen is een sterke pré
  • Kennis van regeltechniek is een pluspunt
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, bent communicatief vaardig en werkt graag samen in een technisch team
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Engels in woord en geschrift; kennis van het Nederlands is een pré
