As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in setting up, configuring and maintaining our computer network and related systems within our organisation. As an ICT specialist, you bear responsibility for the management and maintenance of the ICT environment within our organisation. You will work intensively with our IT partners and core users of various systems within Ventura Systems.

Our products can be found worldwide, as can our colleagues, customers and suppliers.

System Administrator

What will you do?

As a System Administrator, you will deal with the day-to-day management and maintenance of the ICT facilities, ensuring they are secure, connected and user-friendly. From hardware to software to networks. You will also determine with the relevant project leaders and core users, the desired functionality for various developments. Some of the tasks and responsibilities involved are:

Advising on improvements and which products belong and/or are needed in this respect
Identifying and preventing issues
Securing data and networks
Advising on SLAs with our IT partners

Who are you?

You are solution-oriented and always look at how things can be done. You work in a precise and structured way and keep a cool head, even when difficult choices have to be made. You get to grips with problems and then deal with them proactively.

In addition, we would like to see your CV:

A relevant HBO/WO education in the field of ICT
Thorough knowledge of networking, Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure.
3 years' work experience in a similar position
Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch

Within the ICT department, you offer new perspectives, have a critical view of things and are able to translate organisational goals into results. As a System Administrator, you can make choices in consultation, but you also ask immediate colleagues to think along with you when you cannot find a solution yourself.
