Ventura Systems was well represented at Busworld 2025 in Brussels. Our stand attracted a steady stream of visitors, including customers, vehicle manufacturers and industry professionals interested in our latest technologies and developments. Once again, the fair proved to be an important opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and share insights on the future of door systems for public transport.
Technology lab
At the centre of our stand was the Ventura Technology Lab, an interactive space where visitors could try out our latest innovations for themselves. Guided by product specialists, guests were able to delve into key topics such as functional safety, cyber security and predictive maintenance through demonstrations and discussions.
The lab was well received and attracted the attention of both long-standing partners and new contacts. It provided an open space for dialogue on technological developments and the challenges facing modern public transport systems.
Innovations
Several new and updated solutions were presented during the event:
- Door adjustment using sensors: this research project uses sensors and machine learning to measure and refine the quality of door adjustments, ensuring smooth and reliable operation from the start.
- By Control Unit 2.0: this platform combines enhanced functionality with improved cyber security and safety features, laying the foundation for future digital developments.
- Multifunction button with integrated display: this updated concept offers new possibilities for passenger communication and passenger movement, both inside and outside the vehicle.
- In addition, updates to the Inward Gliding ‘lift’ door system and the slim line door leaf concept displayed, reflecting continuous advances in performance, design and efficiency.
Ventura was everywhere
Outside our own stand, Ventura door systems were prominent throughout the exhibition, installed on a wide range of buses from different manufacturers. It was a clear reminder of how widely our products are used in different markets and regions. We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2027!
