Project Engineer

What will you do?

Designing customer-specific door systems, which meet set specifications.
Elaborating a project, creating 3D models and delivering 2D drawings;
Checking drawings and 3D models;
Design the door systems in coordination with Team Leader Project Engineering, the department; R&D and possibly in coordination with an account manager and the customer.
Assisting customers in the installation of new door systems and resolving outstanding
shortcomings and/or areas for improvement.
Assist in project preparation, including providing materials and data for the Supply Chain.
Supervising initial assembly of the door system.

Who are you?

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field;
You understand what a customer cares about and act proactively;
You have experience with 3D CAD systems (we work with Autodesk Inventor and Vault PDM);
You are accurate, structured and enjoy working in a team;
You are flexible and willing to travel (about 5 times a year);
You have a command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.

You will be the new colleague in our team of Project Engineers, part of the Technology department. The young team consists of seven specialists who are serious about their work, but like to make time for a joke in between. When you start, you will be assigned a 'buddy' who will support you during the first year so that you can get to know the business properly. You will report to the Team Leader Project Engineering.
